Women's Bodices
the Juliet Bodice
the Juliet Bodice
The Juliet bodice has a fabric stomacher which laces under the leather sides. The leather sides therefore cover the grommets of the stomacher and are laced with a decorative tie.
The sleeves are the same as The Romeo Doublet: leather panes over fabric, matching the stomacher, on the upper portion with a solid suede bottom.
This bodice comes standard in black suede but can be ordered in any color suede.
The fabric is available in your choice of fabric color and fabric type.
To pair with this bodice, consider adding a chemise and skirt:
High-collared shirt worn by both upper class men and women during the Renaissance.
The stand-up collar has a pleated frill and either decorative or solid color grosgrain ribbon and secures with a button and loop closure. The cuffs are the same as the collar.
Gored skirts with drawstring waist.
Overskirt can be any fabric type and color with coordinating jaquard ribbon.
Underskirt has a decorative panel with trim, sewn to cotton skirt.
